My family, Uncle Yee, Aunty Katherine and I went to Cameron Highlands on the 7th of April and came back on the 9th!
The journey there was not that long , yet not short either...it was quite winding though. Poor little Star was in his box the whole time next to me shaking with fear. He was really scared at that point. The journey will be revealed.... :)
-7 APRILFor Breakfast, we went to Bidor Market and we ate Fried Kuey Teow. I bought egg biscuits too! :D We even saw baby chicks for sale and they were really cute! :3 (Rm 3 for 1, anyone interested? :] ) We didnt get any though... :/ After that, we travelled to the Cameron Tea plantation and drank some tea and chit chat! The cool air blew at our faces and it refreshed us all. It lift our spirits up and we were looking forward to our stay in Cameron Highlands. When we arrived at Strawberry Park Resort at Brinchang, we checked in and headed to our room. (more like apartment but yea...) we put away our stuff and then went for lunch at the Pasar Malam. At the pasar malam, we bought and ate nasi lemak, nasi ayam, fried rice cake, pisang goreng, apam balik, sweet potatoes, pizza, etc.. just lots of food! Then we went back to the hotel and hours later, out again for a steamboat dinner at Restaurant Jin Jin. After dinner, we went back and fell asleep on the comfy beds.. :3
-8 APRILWoke up, went for breakfast at Brinchang market (ate pan mee & peppered pork noodles) and then went for Easter service at the All Soul's Church (10.30am service). The service ended at around 12 noon. We went to BOH's Tea Garden - we had tea with pastries and cakes for snack. After that we went to Raju's Strawberry Farm... makan again, and we had Belgian waffles with strawberry, yoghurt ice cream, strawberry juice and cakes... ( I discovered that strawberries coated with chocolate is AWESOME! :3 ) We then went to Kea Farm to buy some vegetables and also to look for honey. Since we couldn't find any good honey to buy, we stopped by the Honey Farm but we didn't buy any as well. For dinner, we went to You Hoo Seafood Restaurant - ate a lot of delicious food (curry fish head, vege, fried sotong, omelette and pork) and then we head back to our hotel and fall into a good night's sleep :)
-9 APRILWe woke up quite early, and we decided to go for a walk. We went around the hotel premises and took lots of photos! :) Breakfast was simple, milo and bread. We stayed in the hotel till it was time to check out. After checking out, we went for lunch at Rosette, Tanah Rata.. I had steak..yummy!! Our next stop? ... back to the first tea garden we visited. Drank more tea, relax and chit chat for hours... as the day slowly darken, we traveled back home. We stopped by Bukit Beruntung for dinner. We had really good pai kuat, steamed fish, vege, lala, etc... we even had 2 rounds of the pai kuat! :D
After all that eating, we headed for our home sweet home.
That's the end of our journey~ :) should have been there huh? ;)
